Taste of Tasmania
Tasmania’s most popular and enduring summer event, The Taste of Tasmania showcases Tassie’s best seafood, cheeses, berries, cool-climate wines, boutique beers and ciders and much more.
‘The Taste’ (as it’s referred to by locals) features a fabulous entertainment program, with buskers, local musicians and DJs performing throughout the event. All performances are free, but buskers may ask for a donation after their performance.
Children are also catered for, with a great program of free activities on every day in The Park. With classes, performances, activities and a nightly family-friendly movie, there’s something for every child.
The majestic River Derwent, Hobart’s historic wharves and Salamanca Place provide a stunning backdrop to this annual celebration of quality Tasmanian produce. We look forward to seeing you there!
